Sony 50mm F1.4 GM vs Sigma 50mm F1.4 DG DN Art
Thinking of getting the 35mm F2, but daaaymn the price, I think I gotta go for the viltrox 33mm f1.4
I know this is an older video but wanted watch it because I have both the 35mm and 65mm Sigma lenses and also enjoy watching videos where Chris is scared of his own shadow cast by a lens with 35mm focal length. Take care.
What I don't understand is how you control focus through the EVF. I get no boxes or confirmation. All the reviews are for the rear screen.
Dang, I still use the Canon 5D mark 1. Things have come a long way. But then again, my main camera is a Canon AE-1. Using this might feel like stepping out of my Honda van and into a Ferrari. I might crash it!
Hey guys I've cottoned onto a product may by ULanzi. They do make an electric air blower now and it has three settings. The second setting is not too strong that you can simply turn it on and blow the dust off. You don't need to use the rocket, there's nothing wrong with the rockets by the way, but it just makes a little bit easier ..... I mean, the other one to do is just chuck it in the dishwasher....lol it does a perfect job and you don't have to do anything after
would it be possible to mount a Sigma 45mm f 2.8 on a fuji X-T50 with an adapter ?
Leica sl3 with m lens amount is absolutely stunning, please try it 😊
Fuji's XF35mm F2 R WR is still remains my "standard lens" for my X-E3 'cause it's super-sharp and wonderfully compact. I like the shots it gives me at all ISO settings.
Chris, the strap belongs on the neck - ALLWAYS - especially with 10.000 camera...
Took 460 shots on a 2 hour shoot, plus uploaded many to my phone and battery was only half used. Not sure why Sony rates the battery life so low when in reality it works well. Maybe the settings I had for the vii helped?
I have this camera. Love it, but the flash shoe supports only the latest Speedlite EL-5 flash, which is 75% the price of the camera. Yes there is the AD-E1 adapter but can't find that thing in stock anywhere since I bought the camera. Be aware of this issue if someone is considering using a flash
With Nikon z50 in 2024 getting many firmare updates and lots of new lenses, do you think it deserves to get that golden award since those were the two issues you had pointed out in your website?
The 16-80 F4 is my workhorse and I love it !!
What kind of photography are you doing?? NEAR FAR NEAR FAR NEAR FAR!!!
That old Olympus EM1X looks beautiful.
I want to see part II using the A9 III and Global Shutter I.
This was the most helpful review on video and cinematic mode in general. Thank you for putting the time in.
Did anyone feel the body get slightly warm with normal shooting? I’m trying to figure out why mine is getting warm. Thanks!
Can you record prores raw with the video assist of blackmagic. The specs are saying prores.
“Canon we need some D’s”, That’s what she said.
The RX10 is still great in a athletics stadium. Compact for such a great reach. I AM LOOKING FOR: Smallrig L-bracket nr 2230.
❤❤❤
the current re sell price on the G5 X Mark II is ridiculous hahahahahha
Just want to point out that as of June 2024, the AF issues have largely been addressed with the addition of Face Detect AF in FW v. 3.1.0, and the live view histogram was made available in version v. 2.0.0. This is one take on this camera, in a particular use case. But other videos are out there that go more into depth with the user experience, IBIS, and the color rendering, which is where this camera really excels compared to its competition. Also, the fact that it has a good smartphone app that reliably connects to, and maintains its connection to the camera, can’t be oversold. I have yet to encounter any camera that doesn’t an app or wi-fi connection that doesn’t suck.
What I really dont understand is why thses arent spoken about for videpgraphers and instead they have all the lidar technology wireless focus systems... Am I missing something? Isnt this way easier and more convenvient? Or is there a big fault for these with video? Thanks!
14:07. What Canon camcorder is THAT!!????
I understand your point of view, but considering Sony's versatility, having more lens options makes it much more interesting. And in my case, I just bought an R7, I'm just considering upgrading to an R5 mark II because I bought some lenses. But it's still too early to think about it, for now, I just intend to have fun. A hug!
Does it split a video file at 4gb, as a previous model?
I have seen so many videos on the fuji 18-55 and they all come to different conclusion's.
the major advantage are compression
pros want fat, I think that a7mk1 is a good size :D I think these cams are tooo fat
Panasonic 9mm or 15mm 1.7?
You are absolutely exhausting to listen to. You talk far too quickly. You are obviously reading off a prompter. Are you on speed? Slow down ffs!!!
Still waiting for a Z cam with a sync speed less than 1/200th
Very well presented and delivered information. Well done!
Great buyers guide. In my opinion the Sony A7C R with the I primes from Sigma should have made this list. It is a very capable Street and Documentary camera and with the Sigma Primes a joy to work with. Just my thoughts. 📸 Earl J.
Congratulations 👏
The tragopan photos were mind blowing!
Yes! Celebration of all formats
I think there's somethign wrong with my Ricoh GR iiix. It is taking terrible blurry low contrast photos no matter what I do! I've messed with settings and no answer. Can someone please look at the sample photos in the short on my page. I need help I spent so much money on this thing after watching this video!
If you dont have one yet, get an A7iii and use the cash you saved for a decent lens.
You forget to mention it has best jpg engine and colours...
So good sir. Thanks heaps from NZ. Disgusting humans haha, love you for that comment.
Great. Thx
So, when one looks through the viewfinder on this camera one sees a screen and not an optical view?
Yes, like all mirrorless cameras.
awesome 2 years on and you've busted an important myth I'm so glad I saw and learned this from you. guys thx
Lawd, that image looks amazing.
Considering i) high price ii) low MP (cropping considered) iii) partial sensor with not much improvement iv) bad flip monitor ... Z6III is not a "photo" camera ... why buy???
There's no point in putting more mpx if you have 45mpx Z7 and Z8. You do 33mpx and then what, Z6iv with 40mpx? That would make Z7/Z8 pointless. Moreover, 24mpx sensor produces beautiful, clean images. I have both 24mpx and 45mpx and often prefer 24mpx. 24mpx also allows the camera to be faster and saves you storage space. I am glad Nikon didn't go for the mpx war, which is senseless. The sensor is actually big improvement, there's also a new processor which means Z8 like AF. Flip out screen is something plenty of people asked about. If Nikon didn't do it, people would also complain- why Nikon is the only company that doesn't have one? Sony has it, Canon has it and Nikon doesn't. It's a very good camera and very good upgrade of Z6ii.
